Nani gigantum humeris insidentes

I am an engineer passionate about mathematics, optimization, parallel programming and stochastic finance models. I have worked on low-latency CPU optimizations, GPU and multi-GPU programming, efficient design of graph embedding, reordering, partitioning algorithms, and concurrent queue systems. Ah also, worked on some cool UAVs and control algorithms.

Beyond my technical work, I love traveling (+30 countries) and I'm curious about languages - working on becoming a polyglot (so far spanish, english, turkish). Messing around with sports regularly: lately I'm focused on shooting more 10.9's in 10m air pistol and aiming to complete the 6.5 km Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swimming Race. My ultimate goal is to contribute to meaningful projects in CS, math, finance and high-performance computing, inspired by role models like Jim Simons, while continuing to explore my intellectual interests and global experiences.

PS: Also, I do believe in Newton's 'standing on the shoulders of giants'. I aim to meet many giants (feel free to reach out if you are or trying) and, perhaps one day, hoping to become one myself.
